The Breakeven Point: How Much Wine Do I Need to Sell?

Depending upon how much wine is sold directly in Washington, D.C., our breakeven point is around 4,400 cases of wine. The laws in the district allow you to also distribute directly, thus you have another profit tier there. Outside of DC, it would be around 5,000 cases of wine.

And I plan to move at least 10,000 cases of wine in the first year of operation!

And while we personally will distribute in several states, other companies can purchase and distribute the wine in other states; this is common practice in the wine industry.
